I just realized today that Digital Freebies is in its third year. THREE YEARS! I can’t remember the last time I did anything for three years and still rather enjoyed it. I think I am onto something…
We are, however, in the midst of many changes at DF – a new cart, a new server, a new method of freebie delivery. Very exciting, actually. I like change (which is probably why I have never really done anything for three years!) – and a new cart is exciting… a new server – well, that isn’t exciting…and a new method of freebie delivery? Well, that’s just trying…
I have spent the last two days doing pretty much nothing but answering email. If I’ve missed yours, I apologize 🙂
Friday we sent out our freebie and we put in our forums, rather than just hanging out there in HTML land. The benefits are awesome – we can keep all the freebies in one place, if you miss a newsletter it’ll still be there, we are going to start archiving freebies and let folks subscribe to get all the older freebies. Just nifty.
But WHO KNEW registering for a forum was such a strange request? I really got some of the most bizarre emails yesterday.
“Why should I register for a site I want no part of just to get a freebie?”
That’s a very good question 🙂
