(living in the gap between past and future…)
Listening to Kate Bush, drinking the Evil Sludge that is Diet Coke, working, working, working…so much to do and so little time these days.
(what would we do without you?)
Such a busy, busy time of the year – the end of school, the beginning of High School looming right around the summer, Camp, Hawaii (for Hayley – not me!), birthdays for those that aren’t with us, birthdays for those that are, words, and so many unknowns.
(you might not, not think so now,
but just you wait and see–someone will come to help you…)
So, yes, busy – so much I could write about, so little fit for public consumption. And thus, paralyzed. Terribly sad, actually, that words – the one fluid, ever changing bit of life that I can spin into understanding and hope and forgiveness – terribly sad that they are stuck – frozen in blocks of cement like the pretty glass bits we found at the Dollar Store last week….
(is there so much hate for the ones we love?
tell me – we both matter – don’t we?)
This post was written with the ever fabulous Kate Bush running in the background.
